Fifth Grade Teachers at MES
They're working on an awesome website, and they're right across the hall from me!
Ms. Bonamo's Fourth Grade Class in FL
Well-organized and full of helpful resources, I admire this teaching veteran's website.
Mr. Boyer's Fifth Grade Class
Outstanding, thorough fifth grade classroom website with a student weblog and podcasts.
Mrs. Bunyi's Fourth Grade Class in TN
Not only is Mrs. Bunyi a Scholastic teacher advisor for the 2008-2009 school year, she is also good with web design and has a lot of helpful information on her website.
She has been a literary coach and keeps herself accountable on her website for the books she has personally read. I believe I will learn a lot from her by visiting her weblog at Scholastic over the course of this year.
Mr. Coley's Fifth Grade Class
What an IMPRESSIVE and neat resource! I would have been excited to be in his class when I was in school... I especially love the
flash cards for iPods.
Miss Campioni's Third Grade Class
This is a very appealing website with so much information for whoever desires to visit! The theme of her website is delightful.
Mrs. Deyo's Fifth Grade Class in St. Augustine, FL
Mrs. Deyo is a teacher I have known for a while; I met her during my internship at Hartley Elementary School, where she teaches fifth grade.
She incorporates technology in her curriculum daily. At the end of the 2006-07 school year, she put together a slideshow of the fifth graders' memories.
Mrs. Gold's Third Grade Class in NJ
Mrs. Gold provides all kind of enrichment on her website, especially for when her students leave her class and are entering the fourth grade! She
embraces literacy and also has many exciting activities in her classroom.
Mrs. Grover's Fourth Grade Class in IN
Nicely organized, informative, and interesting... that's what a classroom website should be! The most impressive resource on Mrs.
Grover's website is Touring the United States.
Ms. Jensen's Fifth Grade Class in CA
Ms. Jensen and I met at a teaching resources website, and I found her site to be delightful! It is full of neat resources that can help you out here and there.
Besides that, her site is visually appealing with lots of neat graphics. She seems to be a very dedicated teacher! My favorite resource is... Are You Smarter Than a Fifth-Grader?
Mrs. Lykowski's Fifth Grade Class
It's always impressive to come across a teacher who includes podcasts on their websites. I am also highly impressed by her layout that includes pencils and lined paper. She includes a section called Global Explorers that makes her stand out even more as a neat teacher!
Mrs. Newingham's Third Grade Class in Troy, MI
Mrs. Newingham is amazing. Not only does she bring her class to Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan, she also provides a great deal of literary resources,
plans many memorable lessons (like her regional U.S. tour), and encourages families to come in to her classroom throughout the school year.
Mrs. Packer's Kindergarten Class in KY
Though she is not an intermediate teacher, I admire her very much! She has several outstanding ideas.
Mrs. Raude's Third Grade Gifted Class in FL
Mrs. Raude has many interesting photos on her site, and she truly challenges her Gifted students. As a teacher considering Gifted education, I admire her efforts and enjoy visiting her website!
Mrs. Renz- Fourth Grade Class in Redmond, OR
Mrs. Renz is truly an inspiration to me because she offers a great deal of resources on her website, plans enriching field trips for her class,
and completes many hands-on science activities.
Mrs. Ritenour's G/T Third Grade Class in MI
Very informative and full of neat lesson ideas! My favorite was probably the wax museum, which I have seen done by other classes as well (in different ways). Great photos, too!
Mr. Roemer's Fifth Grade Class in Pinellas Park, FL
Mr. Roemer has a truly incredible site because he has his students maintain the class weblog daily. They take a trip to Tallahassee, which is our state's capital, near the end of the school year.
Miss Ryan's Fifth Grade Class in MO
Miss Ryan offers great resources for reading and writing. When I was developing my workshops last year, her site aided me a bit in the planning process.
Ms. Sanchez- Fourth Grade Class in Miami, Florida
Ms. Sanchez has a truly impressive website with lots of resources for students, parents, and teachers. She also includes a weblog for her students as well as has the interest in putting podcasts on her website. Oh, and of course she gets extra points in my book for being a fourth-grade teacher in Florida!
Mrs. Schilb's 1st-2nd Grade Class
This teacher did a wonderful job with her website, and she has some excellent reading strategies posters with beanie babies. Her kids are blessed to have a very creative teacher.
Mrs. Shea's Fourth Grade Class in NC
I've heard of this website in the past and never really took much of a look at it... but recently, she and I made a great discovery- we're both alums of
Flagler College! Even better yet, I was VERY impressed when I came back and looked at all she had to offer. She has an excellent student projects page and also participates in the Mastery Club that Mrs. Renz started at her website. I'm looking forward to seeing more from this awesome teacher!
Mrs. Smith's Third Grade Class
Two VERY BIG thumbs-up. :) I love this website so much, I don't know where to start in my explanation!
Mrs. Sunda's G/T Class in AZ (and Debate Forum)
This is a VERY cool site with original projects. It is obvious Mrs. Sunda puts a lot of time and effort into making the year remarkable for her kids. The idea of debate is exciting, and I also like how the students designed some of the other projects in her class. Also, the teacher is QUITE the web designer herself if you really look through the pages. (p.s. Can you locate Thomas Edison!?! Earn a gold star from Ms. Jasztal! :D)
Mrs. VanDyke's Third Grade Class::
This classroom is very creative, and the teacher comes up with all kinds of projects that the class later displays online.
[Mr. Vincent:: Though not updated since 2004, I enjoy reading the fifth grade class' journal and the activities they completed that year. Very admirable work!]
Mrs. Waldron's Third Grade Class in St. Augustine, Florida::
I have discovered another teacher at Hartley Elementary School in St. Augustine! She seems like a teacher very much into technology, which is admirable.
Other Inspiration
Atomic Mama- One of my close friends, Christine, has a weblog dedicated to parenting. Her son was born January 2004.

Though this isn't a "classroom", Busy Teacher's Cafe is one of the most helpful websites for teachers out there!

These are people I admire or have kept in touch with over the years. A few I have met personally. I have the greatest respect for these teachers because they put forth so much effort into making the school year a truly memorable one.
