History of Cranium Commanders

Growing up, there were always those teachers who pushed us to go farther than we ever could have imagined! When I entered the classroom, I decided that I had to be one of those teachers. In 2004, right before I came to Moton, I ran across Mrs. Renz's fourth grade website, and she had a club called the "Mastery Club" where she had questions in each category for her students to answer. Mrs. Renz is a teacher who shares so many exciting ideas with other teachers in the nation and world.

Our Cranium Commanders is just a bit different; there are also opportunities where students can earn "Extra Credit" points and questions where students can earn points by working on projects at home. Website resources are provided for nearly every question. Students who earn points get a membership card and also a certificate when they become members of the Hall of Fame.

Though Cranium Commanders is optional, I tell my students not to miss out because it teaches you that LEARNING IS A FUN PROCESS!
