Brooksville City Hall

In early December, we travel to City Hall with our Book Buddies and decorate the city's Christmas tree with our homemade ornaments. We sing carols with the kindergarten students and eat a small snack with them. Eventually, we head out to the playground by the Lykes Library. It is about a three-hour trip in all.

Why do I admire Thomas Alva Edison so much?
I admire Edison because my grandfather on my mother's side idolized him from the time he was a child. He researched and wrote a novel about him about ten years ago. My grandfather taught me what it truly means to have a passion for something. His interest in Edison carried on to my mother and then myself.
