For Halloween, we do an activity called "Pumpkinology" where the students weigh and measure pumpkins in different ways. We also complete something we call "Spooky Science", where we make Oobleck, complete a "glowing" activity with light sticks, and make sound effect balloons. The spooky science ideas mainly come from an incredible man named Steve Spangler. Moton also has a costume parade, which you can see of a little bit in the small picture on the events page.

Why do I admire Thomas Alva Edison so much?
I admire Edison because my grandfather on my mother's side idolized him from the time
he was a child. He researched and wrote a novel about him about ten years ago. My grandfather
taught me what it truly means to have a passion for something. His interest in Edison carried on to my mother and then myself.
