We have 2-minute timed tests throughout the year, starting with 2's, 5's, and 10's in one week.

Practice your facts throughout the week::

Online Games:

  • A popular game among students is That's a Fact!. You can take timed tests for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Math Mastery Cyber Challenge is similar to That's a Fact!
  • A game where you have to clear numbers from a grid is Multiplication Station. You have multiplication problems to solve like ? x ?= 16. You have to find the 4's on the grid as fast as possible to earn the maximum number of points.
  • Speed Grid Challenge is a little more challenging, but changes up the basic multiplication game a bit.
  • Batter's Up Baseball practices single- and double-digit multiplication.

  • Print out a multiplication drill to complete at home once a week. See how much you improve in minutes or how many you can solve in either 1 or 2 minutes.

    Quarter 1- American Flag- Get through every stripe on your American flag and earn an ice pop as well as another reward.

    Quarter 2- Multiplication Snowmen- Earn a special snowman treat at the end of your journey.

    Quarter 3- FCAT Bagel Breakfast- Earn a special bagel breakfast the morning of March 7th in honor of FCAT coming.

    Quarter 4- Multiplication Sundaes- "Build" a banana split!

    Mastery of multiplication tables greatly improves how you do in solving problems in all areas of math (particularly measurement and area). Multiplication should not be intimidating in any way, though it is memorization. However, you can make learning multiplication easier by playing online games and printing out resources.
