Our team consists of:

Fifth grade students: Jesse C., Trevison C., Brittany C., Jeremiah D., Thalia D., Shannon F., Hannah H., David J., Michael M., Nick P., Matthew P., Aaliyah R., Ashley S.

Comic Strips/Designers: Juliett A., Zack R., and Jonathan W., all fifth-grade students

To meet the qualifications for being on the staff, you must:

  • Maintain A's, B's, and C's every grading term
  • Not earn a discipline the entire school year
  • Attend a majority of the meetings
  • Turn in articles in a timely manner
  • Have an open mind to trying new things, meeting new people, and of course, having a great year!

    Why do I admire Thomas Alva Edison so much?
    I admire Edison because my grandfather on my mother's side idolized him from the time he was a child. He researched and wrote a novel about him about ten years ago. My grandfather taught me what it truly means to have a passion for something. His interest in Edison carried on to my mother and then myself.
