THE BOYS OF CAMP GREEN LAKE:: The Characters From Holes

Purpose: Visit the official Holes website. Read about the boys who attend Camp Green Lake, and create a "Who Am I" clue sheet about each character.

Instructions:

Here is the website. If the music and the voice get to you once you get on, you can click them off (top right hand corner and bottom right hand corner). If you can stand it, to each is own!

JOURNAL ASSIGNMENT::

You are going to make a "Who Am I" clue sheet about Stanley ["Caveman"], Zero, Armpit, X-Ray, Zig Zag, and Magnet.

Here is an example of what you will do for each character. I completed a "Who Am I" clue for Squid. You won't have to do one for Squid. For him, I clicked on his name and read his short biography- Squid is another one of X-Ray's hard-as-nails close friends. He pushed the other kids around. When Stanley gets a letter from his mom, Squid swipes it and makes fun of him. Maybe he thinks Stanley's a wimp. Or maybe he wishes he got letters from his mom, too. I picked out two hints and wrote a clue-

So for each character, think of two hints and then write a clue from it. It doesn't have to be long, as long as it is descriptive. When you are done, write which character was which on the back of your paper.
