Purpose: Create a timeline of ten presidents of the United States who have been in office.

Take a Timeline paper from Ms. Jasztal's Reading File Cabinet.
Find ten presidents on the list by clicking on their name and finding out which year they entered their presidency. For example, click on Warren G. Harding, the 29th president. He entered office in 1921 and ended his presidency in 1923. Here's how I know...

For example, I picked James Madison, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, Benjamin Harrison, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, Jimmy Carter, and George W. Bush. I will click on their name and find the date they entered office.
After you choose your ten presidents, write them in order with the dates across the top and their name down from the dates.
With their name, write down one fact about each of the ten presidents.
Back to Warren Harding- here's one example fact about him- He was the Editor-in-Chief of a newspaper in Marion, Ohio.
