Purpose: Compare and contrast two types of rocks.

Instructions: First, go to this website and choose two rocks you want to compare/contrast.

JOURNAL ASSIGNMENT:

After choosing two types of rocks and researching them, go to Ms. Jasztal's Reading File Cabinet and take out a Compare/Contrast Venn Diagram sheet. Write at least five facts about EACH of the two rocks you choose, and then also mention what is similar about the rocks by writing more details in the center of the diagram.
