Purpose: Read about Rosa Parks. By looking at a website about her biography, find out what the main ideas in different sections are.

JOURNAL ASSIGNMENT:
At the left of the page, you will see orange tabs that say:
1. Click on each orange link, and write down one important fact that you learn by reading each section. Of course, you do not have
to read the entire pages, but you will need to locate information that tells you and other readers
something important about Rosa Parks.
2. When you are done, you should have 9 facts in all. Facts should be written in complete sentences and be something more important than
"She was brave." Remember to explain important facts that support opinions!
